The Report by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence provides an overview of challenges associated with characterizing the potential threat posed by UAP. It is unclassified, available to the public and has beed shared with the U.S. Congress.
Be aware 🚨 This report is commonly referred to as the Pentagon UFO Report, Government UFO Report or simply UFO Report.

The U.S. Military & Intelligence Offices use the synonym 'UAP' instead of "UFO' to refer to unidentified flying objects.

Results & Findings
Although the Government UFO Report mentions that the 'limited amount of high-quality reporting on unidentified aerial phenomena' makes it impossible to draw 'firm conclusions', the following statements have been made in the report:
In a limited number of incidents, UAP reportedly appeared to exhibit unusual flight characteristics. These observations could be the result of sensor errors, spoofing, or observer misperception and require additional rigorous analysis.
UAP clearly pose a safety of flight issue and may pose a challenge to U.S. national security.
A Handful of UAP Appear to Demonstrate Advanced Technology. 18 incidents, described in 21 reports, observers reported unusual UAP movement patterns or flight characteristics. 🚨
Some UAP appeared to remain stationary in winds aloft, move against the wind, maneuver abruptly, or move at considerable speed, without discernable means of propulsion. 🚨
Possible explanations include Airborne Clutter, Natural Atmospheric Phenomena, Classified Development Programs, Foreign Adversaries or Other. (no conclusion)
143 out of 144 reported sightings can not be explained 🚨
Explaining will require analytic, collection & resource investment
The department has evidently only elaborated on data collected on unknown flying objects by the Defense Department, Military, American Navy, Air Force pilots and Secret Service records - The document does not include international sightings (e.g. from China or Russia) but it mentions that the lack of explanation for advanced flying technology is posing a potential threat.
Unfortunately, the report does not mention Aliens, close encounters or Alien abductions. 👽
This report, as of 25. June 2021 does not disclose any unseen UFO photo- or video evidence.
There are no new sightings or additional descriptions about publicly known sightings, that recently has been confirmed by the U.S. Government.

Conclusion - Has the pentagon started taking UFOs seriously now?
Many people in the UFO community are disappointed with the report, although it is the first, official admission that the U.S. government takes the issue seriously. This is actually a huge c-change as previous inquiries about sightings and encounters have been officially dismissed as drones, weather balloons, light leaks or other natural areal phenomena in the sky.
The report is inconclusive and proposes gathering more intelligence on the matter to actually try to explain the UFO phenomenon. For now, we can only continue to speculate what the government really knows and if we are really witnessing technology from another world.
