How to report UFO sightings?
First of all, make copies of your evidence before you follow the list below if you have already recorded or gathered evidence of a UFO Sighting, Abduction or Documentation:
Note Time, Date & Location of Event 📝 You will be asked to provide data with your report. Noting date, time & location will also make it easier to find corroborating witnesses that can support your sighting.
Make Copies of your UFO Evidence 💽 Don't be naive! We have all seen this part in the last UFO documentary we've watched. Before you know it, the Men in Black are knocking on your door... or you just accidentally loose / delete your evidence.
Securely distribute Copies of your UFO Evidence 🤲 Once you have made copies of your UFO evidence, distribute it to trusted friends and sources or secure it on multiple devices like hard-drives or thumb-drives.
Do not alter or edit your Evidence 🙅♂️ It does not have to look good. This isn't Instagram, you don't need a filter to make it look pretty, nor do you need to sharpen it or correct exposure. Your UFO evidence will be subject to all types of analysis, so KEEP IT RAW!
Question your own Sighting & Evidence first 🤔 Have you been tired at the time of the sighting? How much weed did you smoke? Is there another plausible explenation for what you have just witnessed? Always ask yourself first, before you ask others.
Seek additional Witnesses 👨👩👧 You can name multiple witnesses with your UFO report. The more independant witnesses confirm your sighting, the better the evidence. If you have witnessed a UFO Sighting with friends, name your friends and most important (!) upload photos & videos from their devices too! (to rule out potential sensory errors from single device)
File a MUFON Sighting Report 👨💻 You're good to go - Go ahead and file a report with my friends at MUFON 👇🏻
Who do you report UFO sightings to?
MUFON (The Mutual UFO Network) is an established organization that records, analyses and publishes UFO sightings.
MUFON is an independent organization and is not tied to any government. Besides UFO Sightings, you can report Abductions and Encounters with Entities.
Attention 🚨 Please do not abuse this process to submit intentionally fabricated, false, 'funny' or misleading UFO Sighting Reports.
Besides filing a MUFON Report, your only alternative is to directly report your sighting to media and trusted individuals from the UFO Research Community.
If you are in possession of firsthand evidence or have leaked or obtained evidence that is subject to security clearance, please handle with care and consult a professional lawyer about a release. 👩⚖️
